The bulk of it is post-war capes, ranches and split-levels, plus large stretches of 1980s and 1990s development. Those newer builds are now on their second roof and their first serious siding conversation, and many of them have builder-grade aluminum or early vinyl that has chalked and faded past the point of cleaning.

This is good territory for insulated vinyl and fiber cement, because the houses are simple enough that the material upgrade shows immediately from the street.
