The housing here runs from pre-war colonials and Dutch colonials in Elizabeth, Hillside and Roselle through to the larger center-hall homes in Summit, Westfield and Berkeley Heights. A lot of it is original cedar shake buried under one or two layers of vinyl, and a lot of it has flashing details that were never done properly the first time. We open those up before we quote, because that is where the real cost hides.

Being local also means we come back. If a gutter pulls loose in a February storm or a shingle lifts after a nor'easter, we are not a four-county drive away.
